My greatest desire is to help riders grow in their partnership with their horse. Though, my program isn't focused on any one equine sport, I do train for hunt and western seats, as well as driving, with a foundation in dressage principles. I teach a horse to carry himself in balance, and move effectively off the aids, so that he can be a fluid partner. I do this through proper groundwork training, ground driving, and building a solid foundation. I help owners learn to communicate clearly and correctly with their horse. I provide a wide variety of experience for each horse, creating a good mind. I utilize their natural curiosity so that each training session is fun and rewarding.
I don't believe in setting a time frame on training, but I do encourage setting specific goals and working toward them in a timely fashion I offer customized training plans to fit every budget and situation. I travel, if you have the space needed to work in. I take a limited number of horses at our farm at 399750 W. 2200 Rd.Bartlesville, OK 74006.
I love to help riders understand the "why" of what we ask, and the mechanics behind how our horses respond to our asking. It's more than just getting heels down and shoulders back. I believe, through proper and clear communication, we can achieve amazing things with our horses. I strive to teach my riders how to listen to their horse, and offer answers to them effectively. This creates an unbelievable bond. My methods are simple, yet detailed, and I tailor each lesson to help you reach your specific goals. Whether you want to show an English horse, run barrels, or learn to drive, I can help you succeed.

Working in a group setting can be helpful for both horses and their people! I offer half day and full day clinic opportunities to those wishing to get together with friends and spend time learning and growing our horsemanship. I believe we grow the most when we move outside of our comfort zone, so don't be afraid to try a clinic setting! I keep things positive and fun for everyone so it's a low key place to really dive into the ins and outs of why we do what we do and why our horses respond the way they do. Don't miss out on a great learning opportunity and fun with your horse. All clinics are open to riders and in hand only horsemen.

All you need is a good set of wireless earbuds and a tripod, for your phone. We'll work together, with your horse, via video call. If you are looking for personal instruction but are unable to do lessons in person, a virtual session might be just right for you. There's always "homework"!
Amy is the absolute best! She is very intuitive and so patient and helpful. She helped my mare and I forge a relationship based on trust, and I’m very thankful for all the wisdom she shared with me. I appreciate that safety is very important to her, and she has a very gentle way with the horses. I definitely recommend! Morgan D.
I was struggling with confidence issues with my sensitive mare and it was really affecting my ability to communicate with soft feel. Amy's clinics and private lessons helped me make real progress with Bliss. Her ability to break things down into manageable learning steps is amazing. She is very observant on ways to help you learn at your own pace. We really miss working with her! Debra C.
Amy is the best!! Knowledgeable, personable, and patient are just a few of the adjectives that I would use to describe Amy. She taught me so much when she worked with me and my mare in the hot, humid Houston summer. I am forever grateful. Her expertise is undeniable! Shelley G.
I was struggling with calmness and keeping the attention on me when riding my mare. Also, I needed to improve my riding and confidence. Amy pinpointed the problems with my mare and used the clearest communication I've ever experienced to help me improve my riding. I can feel footfalls more and can anticipate my horse's movements during riding. My horse and I can be in harmony as a team now. I give total kudos to Amy for her awesome gift of accurate awareness and insight into the personality and needs of each individual horse and human.

Amy is a true horsewoman in every sense of the word. She is knowledgeable and cares first about the horses well being. I truly trust Amy's horsemanship and training. When first meeting her, my impression was this horsewoman is the real deal! Erin E.
Amy is a spectacular teacher, and an even greater horsewoman. I greatly value her advice and mentorship, as well as her kind and giving soul. She is truly a special person, and I am thankful that our love of horses brought us together! Erin L.
I have a horse that would not stand still to mount. He hadn't been ridden in several years. Amy worked wonders with this horse. She also started a mare for me and started a gelding who hadn't been ridden in 10 years. She is extremely talented working with horses. Amy has so much knowledge and a special way with horses. Amy did a little work with my young 2 year old colt before she moved. I would not have trusted anyone else to start him. She's the best. I definitely recommend. Elizabeth Z.
Amy is one of the greats. She helps horses with "people problems". She had a few months with my mustang, Remington, who had become quite a spoiled bully. Amy worked with Remington over the course of a summer to gently, but firmly, reintroduce the concept of respect and to show him that being partners with a person can be fun. Check out her YouTube channel for her many videos featuring Remington the Mustang. Annie M.
I wish I had found Amy sooner. She is amazing! Amy helped me so much with my red headed mustang mare. She helped me with confidence. Alicia M.
Amy takes a holistic approach to her training. She takes into consideration the health and wellness, inside and out, mind and body, to the horses in her care. Her experience and passion for her profession along with her humility, grace, and sense of humor will have a remarkable effect on you and your horses growth as a team! Missy K.
**Missy's horse is featured in the photos above. The first picture was taken just shortly after I met her mare, to help them with trailer loading. The mare, Ireland, was convinced she could scare me into leaving her alone, so her reaction to me was pretty drastic looking. I think it's important to note that this only lasted a few minutes and she was soon going into the trailer easily. I love this picture because I think it captures the essence of what I do. Helping a horse find a much quieter, and peaceful state of being, after a display such as this, is my reason for doing what I do. The other photos show her progress. The last it's my favorite as she's riding her bareback! I am so, deeply, grateful for so many opportunities to grow in my horsemanship and life. Thank you all for the kind words!

This Healing Balm was created to heal a devastating wound on our beloved horse, Brownie. Since then, I have tried it on many wounds, and with AMAZING results, every time! This ointment is a blend of essential oils, and my own secret (all natural) ingredient. It promotes quick healing of even deep wounds, that cannot be sutured. It works great for preventing proud flesh, and in most cases, minimizes scarring drastically. It is very powerful, so a little goes a long way.
